Comfort arrives in mailbox
We’re a mother and son who have always believed that small acts of kindness can change someone’s day, and sometimes even their life.
We realised how powerful a simple handwritten note can be, especially for someone who doesn’t hear from the world as often anymore.
So we created The Comfort Post.
To sit beside loneliness.
Not fix it.
Just soften it.

Feel free to reach out with any questions you might have to hello@thecomfortpost.com
CAN I TRACK THE LETTER?
We send all letters through Australia Post as standard mail.
As they’re posted as regular letters, tracking isn’t available — but they arrive just like any personal letter would.
WHAT IF I DIDN'T GET MY LETTER?
If your Comfort Post doesn’t arrive, please email us at hello@thecomfortpost.com and we’ll make it right — whether that means sending another letter or arranging a refund for the month.
Occasionally, letters are returned to us due to address issues. When that happens, we wait until the end of the month to allow time for any returns, then resend your letter as soon as possible. If needed, we’ll also follow up with Australia Post on your behalf. And if for any reason it can’t be resolved, you’ll receive a refund for that month.
DO I NEED TO MANUALLY SIGN UP EVERY MONTH?
No.
Your subscription means that you will continue to receive The Comfort Post every month automatically unless you wish to cancel your subscription.
CAN I GIFT THIS TO SOMEONE?
Of course!
Simply put their contact details and address in when checking out and we will send The Comfort Post to them every month.
CAN I WRITE BACK TO YOU?

About Judy
Hi, I’m Judy — but friends, call me Jude.
I’m a 62-year-old wife, mum, and proud grandmother — with another grandbaby on the way! Family is everything to me, and I’ve spent a lifetime finding creative, meaningful ways to stay deeply connected to the people I love.
Connection is my calling. As a retired reading tutor, I spent years building relationships one word, one story, one person at a time. When that chapter closed, I knew I wasn’t done. I needed to keep reaching out — because I truly believe that’s what I’m here for.
I get it, though. Life has a way of quietly pulling people apart. Friends move away, routines change, and suddenly the days feel a little too silent. I know that feeling well — most of my closest friends no longer live nearby, and I’ve felt the ache of that distance firsthand.
That’s exactly why I’m here.
I want to write to you — real, handwritten letters full of stories, warmth, and a little slice of my world. I love hiking and soaking up the beauty of nature, growing my own vegetables, and losing myself in a great book. I have no shortage of things to share.
There’s something quietly magical about opening your letterbox to find something written just for you. No notifications, no scrolling — just a letter, a moment, and the reminder that someone out there is thinking of you.
You don’t have to feel alone.
About Nick
I'm a 26 year old man from a little beachside town in New South Wales, Australia.
I have a beautiful wife who is currently pregnant with our first baby on the way (It's a boy!).
I currently work as a physiotherapist helping members of the community tackle their pain and mobility in a supportive and caring way.
I am the steretopycaI physio who loves all things sport as I enjoy playing soccer (football?) on the weekends for my local club, running around the community and participating in Parkrun, and trying my best to be as strong as possible (so I can hold baby for as long as possible).
I also love reading anything mystery/thriller, getting down to the beach with friends and family, travelling as much as I can and I have been learning German every day since 1st January 2024 (still nowhere near fluent).
Throughout my work and my personal life I have found that belonging and community is something that every human being should be entitled to and that's why I came up with the idea of The Comfort Post.
I'm also always finding new ways to find quality time with my family and so I look forward to the journey this will take us on as we navigate vulnerable topics and hopefully helping people all across the globe feel a little bit more connected to the world, even in a small way.
